Memorial for Influenza Victims at Stanley Mission

Solomon Ratt and I have commissioned Remco Memorials to create a memorial bronze plaque to commemorate and honour the Influenza Epidemic victims of 1920 at Stanley Mission.

It is our earnest wish to have this memorial monument installed this summer in remembrance of those who perished that winter.
We respectfully requested any information from living descendants relating to the Influenza epidemic burials on the “small island” adjacent to and in the graveyard of the Holy Trinity Anglican Church.

We have the burial records of the 36 people who fell victim to this disease at that time and were buried in either the graveyard or on the small island.
If you can help us please donate or for more information, please message me.
