***update I have revised to goal to $8000. Thank you all so much for the help! It has been a life changing moment for my family and we are truly grateful!
Yesterday 8/11/24 my father Hal Piper passed away doing what he loved playing music while playing his set at a local bar in Eugene. Unfortunately, my father was the breadwinner for my mother and left behind no life insurance policy or other funds, I have helped supplement paying my parents rent for the last year and half and my father was not much of a planner. I will be relocating my mother from Eugene to Tennessee to live with my husband and I, and I am now responsible for taking care of my mother and my husband is the only one working full time currently. This of course is a huge financial strain on us, however, I know that no matter what it will work out. I am not one to ask for help but I am at a loss. Anything helps!
