Memorial for Gvonne Perkins & Baby Janiyah

Donation protected
Gvonne Perkins is a sister and a friend to many but above all else a mother. Gvonne was pregnant with baby #5. During the tail end of her pregnancy (she was expecting a baby girl) Gvonne got ill with preeclampsia. She was not aware of being diagnosed with this. As we know preeclampsia is a pregnancy related illness. On December 5, 2022, Gvonne started to complain of not feeling well and having shortness of breath Later on that day she was rushed to the emergency room in Memphis, Tennessee where she resided for some time. During her transfer into the emergency room Gvonne began to go into cardiac arrest. She was without a heartbeat for over 7 minutes. By the grace of God, Gonne was revived but being without a heartbeat for over 7 minutes. Gvonne suffered from a major brain injury. This injury left her with no brain oxygen or blood flow to the brain. Due to Gvonne being in cardiac arrest for over 7 minutes it caused the baby to be deprived from oxygen to the brain as well. The baby girl was named Ja'niyah Grace. Ja'niyah was delivered through an emergency C-section on December 5, 2022 once Gvonne was revived back to life. This lead to baby JA'niyah having a significant amount of brain injury in which the doctors have stated that she was basically brain dead. Since Ja'niyah was born she has not been able to move or even cry. As her kids, mother and sisters we have to make the hardest decision of our lives in which is to naturally let them both go. Due to this unexpected illness we did not plan to have to say good bye so soon. Gvonne nor did baby Ja'niyah did not have any life insurance and we are devastated and we are asking for your help to lay baby Ja'niyah and Gvonne to rest. We ask that you find it in your hearts to help us lay our beloved mother, daughter sister and niece to rest. We thank all those that have and will donate your donations does not go without notice. Please keep us in your prayers during the hardest time of our lives.
