On October 2, 2025, our family lost Giselle W. Britt, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and mother of four. Giselle was only 30 years old, and her passing comes just three years after the loss of our brother. Our mother is now facing the unimaginable pain of losing the third of her four children. The grief has been overwhelming for all of us, particularly for our mother and Giselle’s four young children, who are now in her care.
Giselle faced many challenges in her life, including a long battle with addiction and the difficult circumstances that came with it. Despite these struggles, she was known for her deep love for her children, her playful spirit, and her fondness for shopping in my closet and pantry. She cherished family meals, especially those prepared by our mother, and always found comfort in the warmth of home and family.
We are reaching out for help to cover the costs of Giselle’s funeral, memorial service, and a repast for family and friends. Because of her medical history, Giselle was uninsurable, and the financial burden of these arrangements is more than our family can manage alone. Every dollar raised will go directly to funeral expenses, and any remaining funds will support her four children, ages 3, 4, 7, and 8, as they adjust to life without their mother. Your support, no matter the amount, will help us honor Giselle’s memory and bring our family together to say goodbye.
