Memorial for George Sanford

We are deeply saddened that our beloved George Sanford unexpectedly passed on May 8, 2023. George was a wonderful husband, brother, father, friend, and co-worker who touched the lives of those around him. He leaves behind his wife Patti, his son Leon, and his grandchildren Lexi and Justice.

George was a proud Army Veteran and loved his job at the VA clinic. George was a Harley enthusiast and was the kind of guy that would do anything for those he cared about.

We would love for you to join us at the memorial on Saturday, May 20th at 12pm at G.F. Zimmer Funeral Home, 702 Legion Drive, Chittenango, NY 13037. A celebration of George’s life will take place after the service at the American Legion, 325 S Peterboro St, Canastota, NY 13032.
