Thanks to you all, we brought dad home ❤

We wouldn't ask unless we needed to, but being grad students with kids, our pay barely covers our rent and medical expenses. Even with the most basic cremation and no service, with aid and reorganizing the savings we had for the holiday, we still don't have enough to pay for dad's final expenses. I know things are tight for many of you over the holiday season too, and we don't ask this of our family and friends lightly. The thing is, we can't pick up Dad's remains until the cremation is paid for. We cannot bear the thought of leaving him at the crematorium until we can pay off the balance. In addition, he has an outstanding balance at the nursing home and some other final bills we need to close out. They took such amazing care of him, we don't want to not pay them. Any help is greatly appreciated, and no worries if you can't. Please share this!
