On June 9, 2021, Eltroy "Tre" McCowin passed away after a brief fight with Covid-19. He was a hard-working and beloved husband and father of two teenage girls and a grown son. He was proud to provide for his family as the main breadwinner, and he has left his wife, Stephanie Morales, to finish raising their two girls by herself. His family is reeling from the shock of losing him as well as the financial hardships they now face.

Tre was a healthy man in his 40s, in the prime of his life. They had not prepared financially for this unexpected loss. Stephanie is left with credit card debt, car payments and a mortgage she can't afford, plus two girls headed for college in the next few years. Stephanie and Tre were high school sweethearts. Now she's lost both her soulmate of the last 30 years and her life plans for the next 30 in one heartbreaking tragedy.
