It is with great sadness to hear of the very sudden death of Eddie Caraballo. He was loved by many, and if you ever met him, you know he had a smile and laugh that lit up a room. He will be greatly missed by his two children, Megan and Nick Caraballo. I am setting up this fundraiser on behalf of the family to help offset the costs of his funeral, as he was not employed at the time. Any consideration will be greatly appreciated<3

He is survived by his children, Megan (Brian) Basten, Nicholas E. Caraballo, by his fiancé, Diana Reece, by his step-son, Joey Reece, by his godson, Treyton and Godchild Daniel Ortiz. He is survived by his siblings, Mary (Michael) Mercado, Josephine (Salvador) Ortiz, Maribelle (Michael) Petsinger, Alex Caraballo, Jimmy (Michelle) Caraballo and Lisa Caraballo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his beloved macaw Rico and dog Shadow.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 1pm to 4pm at DeFiore Funeral home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley.
