My name is William Conrad, and Ashley Conrad is my sister. When I first met Diane, it was very brief, but I already felt like I knew her from Ashley and Anthony. I knew Diane to be a very kind and caring person, someone who was very sincere and thoughtful. I know how much it meant to Ashley for her to become her Mother-in-Law, and how much love they shared even before officially becoming family. I was looking forward to getting to know Diane, but in a way I know that I have a piece of her in my family through her son, Anthony. Anthony lost his Mom so suddenly, that there wasn’t any time for him to make the arrangements that were needed. So far, Diane’s wishes were to be cremated and to be with her brother, Dennis. A funeral home here has already taken her from the hospital and started the process of honoring her wish to be cremated. Anthony’s Uncle, Dennis, was laid to rest in San Mateo, California and by some coincidence the plot directly next to him happens to be open. A down payment was made to reserve the plot by Anthony. The total expenses thus far have been $6,000, just to honor her wishes alone. The expected cost will be somewhere around $10,000 for a service and to take care of her medical debt. At a time like this, when you are grieving someone as important as your Mom, the last thing you need to worry about is money. Her passing was so sudden and anyone who knows Diane or Anthony, knows that she never would want him to experience the added monetary stress that he is now faced with. If you do decide to donate, and you knew Diane, please share a good memory you have of her for us to share with her loved ones. Thank you.
