It has taken me a while to write this because I was hoping to still wake up from this nightmare. It is with a load of pain in my heart that I am writing these words. David was more than just my brother-in-law, he was the big brother I always wanted. From day one he accepted me as his own family. Family was everything to him, whether blood or through friendship. He had the biggest heart of any one I knew and he was always willing to lend a helping hand no matter his own circumstance. Anyone who knew David, knew how much he loved his sports and his music. Even having lived in Florida for 23 years, he was still a die hard New Yorker at heart.  
As you can imagine having this been such a sudden tragic accident things have quickly become stressful for the family. He leaves behind a daughter, mother, two brothers and 3 little nephews. As a whole, we are hoping to give him the celebration of life he deserves. We hope to lay him to rest next to his fathers plot. No accommodations have been made as we are still trying to sort through financial needs. Updates will be made as they are planned. Please keep my family in your prayers, as we try to wrap our heads around this horrible tragedy.
