We are accepting donations that will be used to create a memorial for Coach Tom Swapp.

Our goal is to raise $1500.00 to pay for a sign that will be mounted in the field as well as a plaque dedicating the home dugout in his name at MDD. Any additional funds that are donated and not used for this memorial will be transferred to the SABA softball program.

Until the upcoming season, Coach Tom Swapp was the only softball coach in the history of Anacortes High School and spent 42 years leading the Seahawks' softball program. He has more career victories than any softball coach in Washington state history, is a member of the Washington softball coaches hall of fame and led his team to a state championship in 1994. More important than all the victories was the relationship he had with his players both on and off the field. This memorial will help honor his coaching legacy.
