Memorial for Coach Larry Harte

In honor of Coach Larry Harte we (former Warren Mott Tennis Players) wish to donate two memorial benches to be placed near the tennis courts at Warren Mott High School and Delia Park in Sterling Heights. Each bench will also include a plaque describing what an incredible coach and mentor Coach Harte was to so many players. Any additional funds will be donated for the benefit of the Warren Mott tennis teams. Please donate what you can. ❤️
Coach Larry Harte taught tennis for over 40 years, coaching at Warren Mott, giving lessons at Delia Park, and running tournaments. In 2018, he was awarded the Michigan High School Tennis Coaches Association (MHSTCA) coach of the year (http://www.mhsteca.org/COY%20Info/COY/coyinfo2018.html#g1). He will be greatly missed, but his memory lives on through the lives of the many students he inspired and mentored. We hope these benches will help to honor Coach Harte’s legacy and serve to inspire the next generations of tennis players who will come after us.
