Memorial for Chuck Kaulupali

Hi,

My name is Sundae Yomes and I am Chuck's niece and was his caregiver. My Uncle was diagnosed with combined Vascular and Alzheimer's Dementia last September. The disease was aggressive and he passed away right after Thanksgiving on November 28, 2022. His last request was for me to bring him home to Hilo and scatter his remains out at Coconut Island.

Unfortunately, Uncle did not have an estate and did not make prior arrangements so fulfilling his final request has fallen on my family and I. I had hoped that we would have had everything paid for by now, but between a new baby in the house and a mental health crisis, we have not been able to pull together the funds for the memorial and luncheon.

I am asking for donations to help pay for the table/chair rental, food, and airfare. The memorial is set for August 12th, 2023 at 9 am, Coconut Island. Any help is appreciated.
