Memorial for Cary Butler

There are a few people in life whose souls are so bright that when they pass their brightness not only remains but shines greater than ever. Cary Albert Butler IV was one of those people. He had a larger-than-life personality with dreams as big as the sea. Cary was full of so much potential, so many possibilities, and an immeasurable amount of happiness that has now departed us, leaving behind a grieving family.
This Go Fund Me will directly support the Butler family of Thomasville, Georgia who are mourning the sudden, tragic passing of their beloved
Cary A. Butler IV (22) on the afternoon of Tuesday, December 22nd, 2020.
His parents are in disbelief and understandably not prepared, for all that comes with losing their baby boy and putting him to rest. These funds will be used to help cover the costs of the memorial services for Cary’s family as this passing was completely unexpected. The grief of losing a child is enough of a burden to bear, without having to worry about finances at a time like this. We hope to raise enough money with the help of the community to at least ease some of the financial burden. Please help support by donating any amount that you can.
Cary was a young man that loved his parents, sisters, and brothers. He was kind, charismatic, generous to a fault, and the life of the party; his smile and laugh lit up every room he entered. He was also hardworking, passionate, caring, and strong, but most of all a devoted friend taken far too soon. All those that were fortunate enough to be touched by Cary’s larger than life presence will miss him dearly, every day.
Cary had many talents that he was eager to share with others. His love of dancing and joking around provided non-stop comedy and fun to his family and friends. He had an amazing ability to put a smile on the faces of those around him, despite any situation.
Our world will never quite be the same, but to keep his spirit alive, hold your friends and family a little tighter this holiday season, and do something special for someone just to make them smile, because that is what our Cary would do.
During this time of grievance, we remember and hold on to this, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10”
Cary is survived by his parents: Jessica Whitehead and Cary Butler III (Mercedes Butler), sisters: Whitney Butler, Kejuana White, Shanika Taylor, Kiara Butler, Makayla Butler, Camryn Butler, brothers: Timothy Davis, Iziah Butler, and Darius Butler, many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins, and a close circle of friends that he considered family.
**I am Cary’s cousin and the funds are being deposited in the Butler’s Family account.**
