Memorial for Bryson Williams

Donation protected
This GoFundMe has been organized by Sam, Jason and Rachel.

Bryson Robert Williams passed surrounded by his family and wife, Amanda on Monday, February 14, at the age of 32. The boy with the biggest heart, living with a donated heart, passed on the holiday of hearts. He was a wonderful and loving husband, son, brother, uncle and friend.

An inquisitive person for life, Bryson found passion and interest in learning new things and exploring many hobbies. He loved creating art and music, cooking, skating, surfing, and disc golfing. He dedicated many years to the culinary arts, and his talent as a chef was abundantly clear when eating one of his meals. Bryson deeply loved the ocean and spending time at the beach, and would often depict the waves and sand in his art and graphic designs.

Bryson was a kind and caring person who showed genuine interest, true interest, in everyone he met. He made his friends and family feel special, listened to and loved. And they, in turn, loved him back.

Bryson’s big personality was emphasized by a playful and inquisitive nature, his sense of humor, and his expressed appreciation for so much in life. As the recipient of a heart transplant Bryson was an example of living everyday to its fullest and how kindness can touch so many.

Bryson is loved and adored by many and the unexpected tragedy of his loss has shocked those who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife Amanda Jacobs, his devoted parents and sister Bruce, Debbie, and Chrissi Williams and Amanda’s family, Barbara, Michael, Jennie, Joanne, Matt, Kyle, his three nephews Emmett, Pierce and Kellen, and his faithful K9 companion, Louie.

This GoFundMe was started to help his family focus on remembering and honoring Bryson without having to worry about the financial stress that memorial costs bring.

Donations will help cover the costs of medical expenses and a celebration of his life, as well as a memorial plaque, tree, and disc golf basket at his beloved Evergreen disc golf course.

Bryson’s celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 26 at Goleta Beach. For those interested in attending, additional details on the service will be added to this page soon.

Warmest condolences,
Sam, Jason and Rachel
