Our family is heartbroken after the loss of my grandson, Callahan Louis Bion. My daughter Vivian was so excited to welcome her baby boy, and although Callahan was only with us for a short time, he was deeply loved. Vivian showed incredible strength and love as a mother, and the bond she shared with Callahan was beautiful to witness. He had the start of little ringlets just like Vivian did as a baby, his daddy’s long arms and legs, and the Myer family’s perfect button nose and tiny ears. We are grateful for the precious moments we had to snuggle and love him.

We had planned a baby shower for Callahan, but now we hope to gather friends and family for a memorial service to honor his memory. We want to create a space where we can celebrate his life, however brief, and support Vivian as she heals from her c-section and the loss of her son. Vivian has missed a lot of work due to pregnancy complications and will need more time to recover, so we are also hoping to help her catch up on bills during this difficult time.
