My name is Amy Yee. I am the parent of a student with special needs at University High School Charter in Los Angeles. It is with deep sadness I reflect on Anna and the impact she has made on so many of her students, families, and the teachers she worked with. Anna sadly passed away on February 10, 2022.

 

Anna White was our special education coordinator at University High School. Her official role was to help plan and provide programming and support for high schoolers with special and unique needs. But with great energy, a smile, and a welcoming personality, Anna worked tirelessly on behalf of all young adults with unique and special education needs and requirements to help them be successful. She was always patient and always happy to work with all of us. She went above and beyond in so many ways.

 

Anna's passing is a tremendous loss for all of us. We are appreciative of the time we've had with her and I am grateful for the support she provided my son.
