Memorial Farewell for Paula Nieves

Our mom, Paula (AKA "Polly") Nieves, was one of the best people in the world.  She opened her heart (and quite often her home) to anyone in need.  Anyone who knew her as a friend, loved her like a sister.  And to many of us, she was just "Ma".  She was loving, hilarious, sassy, fun, brilliant, and a warrior.  She fought and won every battle that was thrown her way; even in passing, she is triumphant in the arms of the Lord.

We have received lots of messages of love and support for our collective loss.  Many folks have asked if there was a way to contribute.  So we set up this page for anyone who would like to contribute to her memorial services.  Our goal is to give our mom the best tribute possible: a service here in New York, as well as bringing her home to Puerto Rico.

We would also love to get any stories you may have about your time with Paula in your life.  We want to send her off with as much joy as possible, so if you have any good Paula Stories of your adventures, touching memories, any of her wacky analogies, crazy phrases, or other Paula shenanigans, please leave a comment on this page or on her or Kathy's Facebook pages.  We would love to incorporate those stories into her farewell.
