Hello Family and Friends,
My name is Jinai, I am the youngest daughter of Gregory Franklin. This past Monday, June 8th my father suddenly passed away. He suffered from COPD for the past couple of years. We are all still in shock and can't comprehend this sudden tragedy.
This will be the third death in our family in less than a year.
But my father has lived a full life. 
He married my mother when they were young and over the course of their 35 years of marriage, they had 5 daughters. My father was known to his family and friends as "Lil' eyes". He was a hard-working man who never got into any trouble or let anyone know when he was down. He was a DJ, a Chef, a self-taught electrician, a father, a husband, and a son. 
My grandmother recently told us a story about my dad when he was only two years old. His father worked in the evenings and his mother worked in the morning. His father wanted to take a nap before he went to work so he gave my father records to play with. When she had got off of work she saw my father on the floor spinning records on his finger. There were records everywhere and she had to clean them up. My father was musically obsessed, he has any record and CD you could think of. He was the DJ to go to when you wanted the best music for a party or celebration. My father was her last child as his sister passed away in September. He passed away three days after her 80th birthday, four days after my sister's birthday and a month before his own.
He is survived by his wife, his mother, his 5 daughters and his one and only granddaughter.
We are his legacy and his mark on the world. Although we will miss him dearly and wished we had more time, we know he is no longer suffering. He is with his father, his sister and his uncle now.
