Memorial Expenses for Sheridan Tom, Jr.

Those who knew Sheridan on a personal level knew that he was full of love, light, & life even in some of his darkest moments. It was no secret that he struggled with addiction and he was loud and proud about his recovery. After many "failed" attempts with rehabs &/or therapy he FINALLY GOT IT RIGHT. For the last 6 months Sheridan touched more hearts and changed more lives than most of us do in an entire lifetime. His sobriety was important to him. He wanted to prove to himself, his family, & his friends that despite trials and tribulations ANYONE can get clean & sober and be happy.

 

But this chapter of Sheridan's story isn't about addiction. It isn't about an overdose. It isn't about "just another junkie". This chapter is about the senseless actions of malicious, greedy people that robbed Sheridan of his remaining years with all of us, just a week after his 32nd birthday, and left him for dead in the front yard of an abandoned house. Such an unjust end for such a beautiful human.

His words below his Instagram post state when he leaves this earth he better get a tombstone like this. Let's make it happen! This fundraiser is to raise money for his stone as well as assist in any additional funeral, burial, and memorial expenses his father, mother, sister and grandmother are going to endure.

 

Please send love, prayers, & positive vibes to Sheridan's family. Please allow them the space they surely need to attempt in processing what has happened.
