At noon on Tuesday, July 7, Sarah Jane Gutierrez graduated from her earthly body to be with our Father in Heaven. Sarah has been set entirely free from any form of earthly pain, and we rejoice in knowing how full her heart surely is to be home with The Lord. 

The Gutierrez family, Sarah’s husband Dean, sons Christopher and Jacob, and daughter Frances are moved by the outpouring of love and support that has been shown to them during this difficult time. Each donation received is a  huge help to the Gutierrez family, as they are facing the costs of Sarah’s burial, funeral and their basic monthly bills coming up. COVID-19 has now been fought by the majority of the family, including Dean, whose stay in the hospital followed by quarantine resulted in the loss of several  weeks of income as well. In order to help alleviate the financial responsibility of the memorial and burial costs on the family and to help reduce worry by supporting their basic needs, a fundraiser has been established through GoFundMe. Additionally, donations are being accepted through Cash App and Zelle. The Gutierrez Family greatly appreciates any amount you are able to donate. 


The following are reflections of Sarah’s eldest son, Christopher Dean Gutierrez, followed by words from Sarah’s daughter, Frances Nicole Gutierrez, regarding their beloved mother:


“Sarah Jane Gutierrez was my loving mother, a faithful wife to my father, and a Strong follower of Christ and our Father in Heaven. She was a strong woman of Faith, who victoriously defied her circumstances and cheated death, more times than I can count or remember. I told her, and she knows, that any good thing I do on this Earth, she has and will always have, a part in it.

I'm truly sad that I'm not going to have her here with me anymore. But I know GOD has a plan, and all I can and will do, is trust and have faith in Him and His word. Cause that's what my Mom taught me.” -Christopher Gutierrez


“My Mother... My rock... My best friend... I am the woman I am today because of her. She was the woman that put others before herself. She would give her last dollar to someone else. Her faith and Love for the Lord never waivered no matter what she was going through… Her strength was beyond anyone I know. I cherish every moment I have had with her and tried to learn everything I could from her. I strive to be more like her everyday. So to the woman that gave me life, that was with me when I cried, that pushed me when I needed it, that helped me, who put me in my place when I need it, who gave me advice, who prayed constantly for me, the woman who told me that she was proud of me everyday even when I felt like a failure, and the woman who will always make me a better person, I Love You and would be nothing without you!! ❤” -Frances Gutierrez
