Memorial Expenses for Mario Garcia

My name is Rosie Shouse. I am currently a graduate student at CSU Long Beach. I am scheduled to graduate in May 2017 with a Master's degree in I/O Psychology.
Graduate school has been one of the most challenging experiences of my life. Unfortunately, it became harder last month when my father, Mario Garcia, passed away from complications of diabeties. He was my biggest fan and desperately wanted me to complete my college education.
His death was heartbreaking. I had to leave school to be there during his last week of life and I am now faced with paying for his cremation directly out of pocket. His sister originally offered to pay, but has since changed her mind. Because no one else can help me with this bill, I have created a Go Fund Me.
I'm asking anyone who knows me to please help. Please share this page so that I can raise enough money to pay for my father's ashes. His remains are currently with a funeral home in San Jose, CA. He will not be released to me until I have paid the $4,500 bill. The bill is for his cremation and to split his remains into nine pieces (plus the urns). Each piece will go to a member of his immediate family, which are people who are depending on me to pay this bill, but unfortunately can not help much financially.
I am only asking for $1700, which will be enough money to buy me time with the funeral home until the end of the semester. They expect me to pay it by December 7th. After my Fall 2016 semester is over, I can work more hours as a delivery driver to pay the remaining $3000 (they are giving me 60 days).
This money would mean the world to me. All of Mario's children and his wife are depending on these ashes to bring us peace with his death. He didn't have many possessions and we all just want a piece of him to help us in our time of grief. Even if you could donate $5, it would help so much.
I was embarrassed to ask for help, but I don't have any more options. He was such an amazing person and I want to honor him with this last gift. Paying for his ashes will give me enough peace and strength to finish my semester out, which is what my father wanted so badly for me.
