Memorial Expenses for Lorenzo

My beautiful Grandson, Lorenzo Alejandro Guerra Perez, was just 41 days old when he gained his angel wings on Monday, June 5th.

At around 20 weeks pregnant my daughter Kylie, and her boyfriend, Luis, found out that their sweet baby boy had a congential heart defect.

Upon his arrival he was admitted to the NICU at UC Davis Med Center for monitoring. Just before he was 7 days old he had a stint placed in is heart. He continued to recover well after his procedure in the PICU and was able to come home on May 18th at 22 days old. We were so happy when he was able to finally come home as he was thriving and continuing to gain weight as we prepared ourself for the next half of his journey as a CHD baby.

On Sunday, Kylie and Luis, noticed that his breathing patterned had changed! They immediately contacted his cardiologist and rushed him back to the ER and UC Davis. They were unable to determine the cause for sudden decline but were able to stablaize him so his family could say goodbye to their precious boy.
