Hi all, this is the last thing I wanted to be doing. As most of you know, my father Jim LaVelle, passed away yesterday from

COVID related pneumonia. What started out as a mild illness

turned grave on us pretty quickly. At least we were able to say goodbye and play the messages some of you sent.

While us LaVelle’s aren’t the best planners(life insurance? Ha!) dad was clear that his wish was that his body be donated to

science so he could be of service even after he was gone.

Unfortunately it seems like he may not qualify for the programs in our state. So now we’re probably facing the cost to have

him cremated, at a time where money is an issue. So please

donate a little only if you can. But know the outpouring of love and support Jeremiah, Rick, Liam and I have received in the

last week has been the most helpful gift we could have

received. Thank you everyone.

We plan to have a celebration of life in Pennsylvania in early

August. Details to follow. Hopefully we can see many of you

there!
