Donation protected
My sister Jennifer passed away very suddenly late this morning. They believe she had cardiac complications due to her health problems. Jennifer was an avid gamer and loved her family, animals and many online friends. Jennifer was very active in her favorite games and was a big part of their community. We are all in shock by her sudden passing. We are struggling to find the words to write this post because this feels so wrong and unreal.
On behalf of my mother, I am making this page in hopes to get the help to give Jennifer a proper send off and lessen the strain that her loss as caused. My mother was told by the funeral director today, just to get her cremated alone would cost $2,500. Our family does not have the means to afford her cremation or for a memorial. We were not prepared for a day like today to happen. Any help you are willing to give is more than appreciated. Please contact myself or my mother, Deborah Woodel, for any questions.

I spoke with the funeral director today (10/27/2020). He said that state law says that she has to be buried or cremated with in 10 days after death. They are willing to start the process and cremate her if we can come up with $600 before November 5th, 2020. The remaining balance of $1,900 will still be due, but at the very least if we can get that initial $600 in before the 5th, then she won't be sent back to the coroners office. I don't know what else to do. We are at a loss. Please share this page. Please donate. Every penny is more than appreciated and we are unbelievably grateful for everyone who has donated so far. If you know of any other means to get help, please reach out and let us know. We've never dealt with this kind of tragedy before and we don't know where else to turn.

10/30/2020 I let the funeral director know about this page the other day and how amazing you all have been. Because of your caring and compassion, my mother was able to sign the papers in order to get this process started. Today, a total of $1,014 posted to my account. I immediately sent it to the funeral director so they will beginning with the preparations and cremation as agreed. I know that I can speak for all of us when I say I am truly astonished by the support all of you, friends, family, the gaming community, have given thus far. I know Jennifer would have been humbled if she could have seen how much of an impact she truly had on others and how others will come together to help a fellow community member regardless if they knew them or not. We are almost at our goal, so please keep sharing and donating if you're able. I cannot stress enough how every single cent is appreciated. I will continue to post updates as well as receipt images as they come in. We thank you all so very much for all your help.
