My name is Gina Simmons and Amy was my cousin.
Amy Lou Swenson was a beautiful girl that was full of life. She had an amazing free spirit and a way of making others feel comfortable, welcomed and loved. She was a treasured wife, stepmom, sister, daughter and friend. To know her was to love her and she was loved by many and will be so very missed.
On Feb. 16th Amy passed away from an asthma induced cardiac arrest that she suffered on Feb. 8th. Amy was only 22 years old. Her death has been a total shock and we are finding it difficult to believe that she is really gone. Our memories of Amy are many and it never entered any of our minds that we wouldn't be able to make more memories with her in the future.
Amy's unexpected passing has left us scrambling to raise money for her burial. We ask for your help during this difficult time. All donations will go towards funeral expenses to give Amy the proper burial she deserves.
We would like to thank all of you that have prayed for Amy this past week. Your care and concern has touched our hearts and helped us through this difficult time.
