The family is setting up this memorial fundraiser for contributions in lieu of flowers, to honor Duane's memory.  The donations will go to:

Duane loved reading and learning, and the Sutherland library was one of the only resources available to him while growing up.  The library is still used by many, but as the town population is shrinking,  they do not have enough funds to fully digitize.  Duane wanted ensure that the library continues to be able to serve his hometown.

Willoway Complex is the 1921 Sutherland school building that was converted into Senior Independent Living Apartments, Fitness Center, Indoor Swimming Pool and Meeting/Activity Room.   Duane appreciated that the community wanted to maintain this building while providing needed services, particularly for Seniors, in the community.
