Hi, my name is Becky Kilmartin and I am Kathy Brewster’s youngest daughter. We lost my mom in May 2022 after a long battle with Parkinson’s and Dementia.

 

We did as much as humanly possible to keep her as independent for as long as possible but there came a point that she needed more care than we could offer ourselves. On January 2, 2017, she moved into Mayfield Oaks Senior Living and it changed all of our lives. The love and care she received from day one was amazing and we cannot explain how grateful we are to everyone on their staff who took care of her over the past 5+ years.

 

My mom was a teacher for over 30 years and raised my sister Jenny and I to be strong women. Thankfully she saved enough financially to take care of her living expenses, which is not always the case for older generation. But, we know that she would want those who cared for her so graciously to be recognized.

 

My mom did not have a specific charity that she preferred so we would like to ask those who are so inclined, to donate to this fund which we will distribute to those who took such amazing care of her during her final years as a heartfelt thank you from Kathy’s families and friends.
