The Hays High School Class of 2016 is seeking to honor the memory and legacy of our late classmate, Triston Werth, through the creation of a memorial disc golf course on school property. As we approach our ten-year class reunion, we believe this project represents a meaningful opportunity to give back to the school and community that shaped us while creating a lasting tribute to someone who left a profound impact on everyone who knew him.

Triston was known for his kindness, humor, and ability to bring people together. Disc golf was one of his greatest passions and a meaningful part of his life through friendships and involvement with the local disc golf community. By creating a course in his memory, we hope to celebrate who he was while providing current and future students, families, and community members with a free, accessible, and lasting recreational space.

The Class of 2016 is proud to gift this course to Hays High School at no financial cost to the district by gathering donations from alumni, the community, and in partnership with the Flying Bison Disc Golf Club. Our goal is to create something that reflects the spirit of Triston, strengthens community connection, and serves Hays High School for generations to come.

We also will be offering hole sponsors where your name or business can be the sponsor of a hole. This would include your name or business being featured on the hole signage. If you are interested in doing this rather than donating to the Go Fund Me, please reach out to me or Bradyn Meredith.

Also, please do not make an anonymous donation if you want to be featured on our donor sign. We plan on featuring every single person that donates to the cause on one big sign, unless you sponsor a hole on the course and you will get your own signage!
