Dear family and friends,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our sweet mother, Stacey L. Mendez. She gained her wings peacefully on her 55th birthday (April 4th, 2023) surrounded by the love of her children.

While we knew her time was limited here on earth, her passing was unexpected.

Our mom was our lighthouse. Her strength and love is what kept us all going, while her grandkids kept her grounded and full of life.

Our hopes as a family are to fulfill her wishes by holding her celebration of life at Chapel of The Chimes Mortuary in Glendale, just like our fathers’.

Our parents did not have plans or funds set aside for these situations and we are struggling to cover the costs for services.

For love and support, we have started this fundraiser to collect donations for the service our mother had wished for.

We are so very grateful for every donation, big or small, during this difficult time.

If roses grow in heaven

lord, please pick a bunch for me, place them in my mother’s arms and tell her they’re from me.

tell her that I love her, and that I’ll miss her,

and when she turns to smile,

place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile.

Because remembering her is going to be easy,

I’ll do it every day,

but there’s an ache in my heart that’ll never go away.
