Memorial Celebration of Greg Foster

Donation protected
Greg passed away June 9, 2023. We know Greg's loss has come as a sudden, painful blow to so many of his dearest friends and family.
Greg was an uplifting, connected presence. He loved making his friends laugh with his quick wit and perfectly quoted movie lines. He was an incredibly generous gift giver, also so generous in giving his time, skills, and his batches of delicious chocolate chip cookies to those he appreciated most.
Greg seemingly effortlessly got really good at everything he was interested in: BMX racing, skateboarding, heavy metal drumming, Motocross, Tennis playing and coaching... But really, the thing he was best at was connecting with people. At every stage along the way Greg made deep, long lasting friendships.
Please know that each of you meant the world to him.
Greg was an HVAC Tech for most of his working life. He returned to college in his late 30's. During that time he dove deeper into tennis, biked serious miles, and met his supportive and caring partner, Alyssa.
After a lot of diligent work Greg graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in finance from Regis University and later welcomed his much adored child Kori Mae.
Greg struggled with debilitating health issues in the last years of his life. Many of you have expressed sadness, even guilt that you had not had recent conversations with him. Please know that the connections you did make with him were deeply meaningful, and please be comforted that he was cared for and with those he loved in his final days.
We are hoping to provide funds to tackle some of the deferred maintenance Greg had planned to complete on their family home, including health and safety issues that need to be addressed in the near future, so that Alyssa and Kori can move forward with their lives in a functioning and welcoming space.
Great thanks for the loving support and energy you all have shared with Greg throughout his life!

Please contribute to this fund to honor Greg's memory and support his young family in carrying on:

Colorado Celebration of Life Ceremony is expected to take place in early Fall, 2023. We will update this site as dates are finalized.
