Help memorialize Renee Nicole Good, who was shot and killed by an ICE agent on January 7th in Minneapolis.
We are raising money to put up memorial billboards of Renee across the country. The more money that comes in, the more billboards we can rent.
Like so many people, I’m appalled by Renee’s death and by the Trump Administration’s response to her killing.
I’m also sickened by the sight of heavily armed, masked federal agents kicking in doors, smashing car windows, terrorizing residents, and disappearing people off our streets. Such militias are the hallmarks of dictatorial regimes and failed states. They have no place in the United States of America. That’s why we should memorialize Renee Good.
I invite you to help us display Renee’s photo and final words on billboards from sea to shining sea.
Why billboards? In part, to break through the segregated media channels that so many of us find ourselves in. The billboards won’t just reach the people in Elon Musk-controlled X feeds or on Meta-curated Facebook pages. They’ll be out there for everyone to see, to discuss, to ponder.
This memorial billboard campaign is a chance to make a statement, to send a message that the senseless killing of Renee Good won't be forgotten. Not everyone has the ability or desire to get out in the streets and protest. This is another way to express dismay, outrage, and sadness over the actions of ICE.
I'm a former journalist (feel free to Google me) now living in New Hampshire. I've got the organizational skills to make this campaign happen.
Check the updates to see how the money is being spent.
Even a small donation can help make this campaign a success.
Thank you.
