Our father, Steve Olson, tragically lost his life on April 30th, 2025, in Sevierville, TN.
Our father was a veteran, a musician, a dog lover, a car savvy son of a gun, a grandfather, and ultimately our father was taken too soon.
Our family has been in Tennessee taking care of as much as we can, but there are many things that go along with losing a parent, let alone losing a parent who doesn’t live in the same state as you. This is in part why I’m asking for your support in anyway possible so that we may provide the support that all of our family needs at this time.
In an effort to offset funeral costs, probate, outstanding debts, and the tragic emotional roller coaster that this unfortunate loss has the entire family on, I am reaching out to ask for any help possible. Your donation will be greatly appreciated and impactful in this time of grief and need.
As a native alum of Vandercook Lake, we thought it appropriate to add that along with this campaign, we are also hosting a live music benefit jam for our dad at Bone Island Grille on June 7th, from 8pm-12am.
During the event, we will have live music, a time for remembrance as a community, and gift cards to several amazing local businesses.
Your time and efforts of any kind are appreciated. We hope to see as many of you there to make a difference and enjoy a phenomenal night at a Vandercook Lake staple in Bone Island Grille!
