Memorial bench in Whifflet Park for Wee Jules

This page has been set up by Julies friends to raise funds for a memorial bench to be put in whifflet park as a wee tribute to Whifflets own Queen Julie Marshall.

Everyone who knew Julie knew she loved Whifflet, she loved her wee flat in Bute street and if you happened to walk through the park on a “taps aff” kind of day you would know Julie was often found sat on her wee front step oiled up and basking in the Sun, it was one of her favourite things to do.

Julie was the most amazing wee person she had the biggest heart, the quickest wit and the best patter you’d ever hear. What you saw was very much what you got!

So what better way to honour her than to have her very own permanent wee seat in her park where we can all swing by and think about her anytime our hearts are heavy. ( we might need an extra long bench)

Please don’t feel obliged as things are hard for people just now however if you can help in any way we would appreciate it.

Anything left over will be given to the patient fund in the NSD ward (Julie’s ward) in the Golden Jubilee Hospital Clydebank.
