Memorial Bench in Loving Memory of Jeff Kayes

We've created this GoFundMe to raise funds for a memorial bench, charitable donation or other use the Kayes family wishes in order to remember and honor Jeff Kayes. We hope that this bench provides a space for his family and friends to honor Jeff's memory and feel a sense of closeness to his spirit.

Jeff was suddenly taken from this world on November 5, 2022, while doing one of the activities he loved--mountain biking. He was only 47 and left behind his beloved wife Nicole and their 8-year-old daughter Sidney, along with his parents, sister and brother.

Jeff was an avid windsurfer, surfer, snowboarder and mountain biker, who loved spending time with his family in Lake Tahoe. He enjoyed 80s and 90s comedies, was a self-described “Dead head” and loved good wine, often taking day trips with his family to Sonoma and Napa.

Let’s please all think of Jeff and his family and reflect on how we can emulate his extraordinary example. He will be deeply missed.
