Memorial Bench in Honor of Bonnie Clarke

As many of you know, I grew up on a 100-acre tree nursery in upstate New York with my beloved mother, Bonnie. It was a beautiful area complete with creek access that my mother took excellent care of every season. I have countless memories of exploring the property as a child with my friends and family, canoeing on the water, my grandparents and uncle fishing through the years, etc.

When my family moved to North Carolina we sold the majority of the property to Otsego Land Trust where it would be guaranteed to be preserved and undeveloped. It is now the Parslow Road Conservation Area and open to the public throughout the year.

Otsego Land Trust has just opened the "Leave a Legacy" Online Auction allowing the public to bid on honorific benches in their public parks, including Parslow Road. My mother unexpectedly passed away in 2012 and I would absolutely love to place the winning bid for the bench located at her favorite spot on the property. This lasting legacy would have meant the world to her. I would love the support of her family and friends to make this happen. Thank you so much for considering!
