As many of you know, our beloved Sam A.A. Weber passed away in a tragic skateboarding accident on August 22, 2019 and was laid to rest in Wichita, Kansas. Sam touched the lives of so many and was truly someone special. We want to have a place everyone can visit to remember his incredible spirit. We have worked with the city of Hermosa Beach on approval of a memorial bench. This bench will be located on the Hermosa Beach strand at Noble Park and will include a plaque that reads:
Samuel A.A. Weber
5/4/86-8/22/19
“Gluttonius Monk 7”
Our hope is that we can use this GoFundMe page to raise funds to have this bench created and installed. We are grateful for anything you can donate in honor of Sam so that we can have a place to pay our respects, light a candle, and bring flowers. Once the bench has been installed, we will hold a memorial service in Noble Park to commemorate Sam, more info to follow.

Thank you everyone for the tremendous support ! We hit the goal plus more in less than 24 hours! We wanted to keep the page up a little longer to let everyone have an opportunity see it and to be part of this beautiful project! The remainder of the money raised will be donated to a foundation called ASK. Action Sports Kids (ASK) Foundation is a non-profit in Long Beach, California dedicated to providing youth an alternative to the streets and gangs through sports, education and community involvement. Through the Long Beach skate Park program! We feel that this is something Sam would believe in and be very passionate about! Thank you everyone this was truly a team effort!!!
