Memorial Bench in Honour of Sam

Hi everyone,

As many of you know, we lost a beautiful soul, Samuel Jacklyn, in July this year to suicide. To honour this amazing boy taken from us all too soon, we would like to install a memorial bench in Sam’s name down at City Beach, as he loved the ocean. The idea is that this bench will be a peaceful place for people to visit, reflect and remember Sam.

We have set up this page for anyone who would like to make a contribution towards memorialising the incredible person Sam was and the impact he had, and still continues to have, on so many lives. The cost of installing the bench is approximately $2500, so that is the goal. No amount is too small and anyone is welcome to contribute. At the same time there is absolutely no obligation to contribute anything - the page has simply been set up as an option for those who feel that they want to help pay tribute.
