Memorial Bench for Rob Sanchez

On October 22, 2021 we lost Rob too soon. He was a proud son, loving brother, and a close friend to so many. The energy he brought to a group was unlike anyone else. He had a knack for bringing people together and bringing out the best in others.

If you knew Rob, you know that San Luis Obispo was his happy place. Therefore, we would like to honor him by dedicating a memorial bench to him on the Cal Poly Campus - a place in SLO that meant so much to him. He was a two-time Cal Poly grad earning a BS in Food Science and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. We hope that once the bench is installed, you’ll be able to sit with Rob and remember all the great memories you’ve shared with him throughout his life.

The cost of the bench is $5,000, and if any additional funds are raised, they will be given to his parents, Mike and Linda Sanchez. We will share the location of his bench once it has been confirmed by the university.
