Memorial Bench for Randy Budd

Hello friends & family-

My name is Betty Budd. I am the oldest daughter of Randy Budd. As many of you may know, he passed away suddenly on July 3rd, 2022. He left behind five beautiful, successful children and the love of his life & fiancee. To say we are all crushed is mild. We are shattered & devastated by the loss of Randy. If you attended his funeral services, you know how loved he was. Some beautiful words were spoken & stories shared.

My dad worked his butt off to provide the most beautiful graduation party for Connor Moran- who graduated high school with honors. He was also able to walk his eldest daughter down the aisle before he passed, memories we will cherish forever. He got engaged to the love of his life, Christy. Watched Alexa thrive in PA school. He bonded with Christine, providing her with memories that would last a lifetime. He was happy & was at peace. Do we want him here? Yes! But I take some comfort in knowing that.

So what exactly am I asking for? The real dope, funerals are expensive. We provided him with a STUNNING service, mass, and lunch. Honoring him the best we all knew how. But, if you know our family...you know that is just not good enough. We want to honor him forever. Provide the people who loved him a place to speak to him. We would like to have a park bench placed in the Huron Clinton Metro Parks in honor of him. The cost of this is approximately $5,000. We are just trying to raise enough money for this to be placed there. A place he worked for over 20 years and truly loved.
