Memorial Bench for Peter Preuss
Donation protected
On September 6th, 2020 Peter Preuss unexpectedly passed away. He was a son, brother, uncle, fur daddy, friend to all and overall an amazing man. Pete loved to travel and was a nature lover. He loved being outdoors. One of his favorite days of the year was Thanksgiving and the Manchester Road Race, always putting out an open invite to everyone to watch the race from his house. I have been in touch with the Town of Manchester's Director Of Family, Leisure & Recreation about having a memorial bench for Pete installed in Manchester. The cost of the memorial bench is around $1,500. The tentative spot will be near Highland Park Market (one of Pete's first jobs where he fulfilled many roles), a place that is right along the Manchester Road Race Course and is also right up the street from his house that he took so much pride in. This memorial bench dedicated to Pete would give family and friends a place to go sit and have a chat with him, reminisce about all the good times - while being where Pete loved most: outdoors.
Pete's bench will be installed in the Spring of 2021. I will keep everyone up to date when I get confirmation from the Parks & Facilities Manager on the exact location. Please share and if you would like to donate towards the memorial bench, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
