Meewasin Valley Memorial Bench for Louise Gagné

Donation protected
Donations to the MVA to Honour the Life and Memory of Louise Gagné

In lieu of flowers, the family of Louise Gagné would greatly appreciate donations to the Meewasin Valley Authority be made to honour Louise. The donations collected here will be gifted to the MVA through the sponsorship of a memorial plaque for a bench located at Cranberry Flats south of Saskatoon.

Cranberry Flats was a special destination for Louise. She loved to walk out on the land with friends and family, to see the prairie crocuses in spring time, to take in the expansive view of the river and to breathe in the fresh prairie air, filled with the scent of prairie sage and wild roses.

The legacy of a dedicated bench will honour Louise and allow friends and family to make this a destination to visit and remember and connect with Louise for many years to come.

All donations will go towards maintaining the Meewasin Valley and towards sponsoring a bench overlooking the river valley that will hopefully retain a plaque in Louise's name for 30 years. As a nature lover and a steward of many plants and flowers throughout her lifetime of 71 years, we feel this donation is the perfect way to honour and remember Louise.

The 30 year contract will take us up to the year in which she would have been 101 years old. The family so appreciates any and all donations, large or small, that will help support this opportunity to honour and remember Louise.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Sincerely,

Louise's Family
