Memorial Bench for Jayne Wilson
Donation protected
When Jayne Wilson wasn’t traveling to beautiful locations around the country and beyond, the dazzling and peaceful sunsets over the Mississippi were something she made a point to enjoy at every opportunity. If it wasn’t overcast, chances are good she’d be there either alone or sharing the view with someone. Jayne managed to get away from her busy schedule just in time to find a spot to relax and enjoy the sunset shimmering over the river in the last hours of daylight. Jayne had the ability to find beauty in every sunset she saw.
When older benches are ready to be replaced, the city of Moline allows a new memorial bench as a replacement. The cost for a memorial bench is $2,500. This would be a fitting memorial to Jayne in an area she spent many evenings and give her children, family, and all those who knew, loved, and miss her dearly. The bench will serve as a place to reflect on what a remarkable woman Jayne was. Also, it will allow visitors to share her love for the beauty of nature in all forms and enjoy peaceful sunsets.
This effort provides an opportunity for individuals to help create a special memorial for all to enjoy sunsets as much as Jayne did. Please consider contributing to our fundraiser to make this dedicated place of reflection a reality. It will be greatly appreciated. On behalf of Jayne’s family - Thank you!
