James was a big, burly man who worked with his hands his whole life. He began his career in a printing press and eventually moved into property management, where his knack for fixing anything became a running joke among family and friends. He was deeply devoted to his wife, Dianne, his children James Jr., Donna, and Daniel, and his grandchildren Ryan, Aurora, and Andrew. His love for his family was evident in everything he did. An avid outdoorsman, he found joy in hunting, fishing, and hiking, and took great pride in his work and his home.
After his passing, Dianne and her children wanted to create a quiet place where they could feel close to James, especially since he won't have a gravestone. The idea of a memorial bench became a way to honor his legacy and provide a peaceful spot for his grandchildren—Ryan, Aurora, and Andrew—to remember and connect with their grandfather. This bench will serve as a lasting tribute to a man who meant so much to his family and community, and will be a place for reflection, love, and remembrance for years to come.
Donations to this fundraiser will go directly toward the donation and maintenance of the memorial bench in a meaningful location. Dianne, James Jr., Donna, and Daniel would greatly appreciate any support, as they all loved James deeply and want to honor him after his life was sadly cut short. Your contribution will help create a special place to memorialize and connect with him, and share his memory with future generations.
