Sweet Gary Normandin Memorial donations to Pancan♥️
Donation protected

Blessings of the day! My name is Anne Whipple! I am a 65-year-old mom of 3 kids. I live in Stratford, CT. I am a hairdresser of over 40 years and God has blessed me with family and some very great friends.
One of the dearest, kindest, funniest, most generous of time, spirit, and community, friend of mine just passed. Gary Normandin fought pancreatic cancer (given a week to live), he continued on for 6 years! Lived for others till he couldn't anymore. I want to put a memorial bench, dedicated to him, on our Town Green. He volunteered tirelessly. Every year, on The Green, he would cut down, erect, and decorate a beautiful tree dedicated to those we lost from cancer, called The Tree of Light. That's only a tiny thing in a long, long list of his charity. He built ramps for the sick and handicapped, off the cuff. He built, painted, and was involved in the schools from outdoors to proms! He was so very loved. He made thousands and thousands of dollars for The Pancan organization to fight pancreatic cancer. I wish I could find the right words but only God knows what a true heart and soul full of love Gary was. He walked, as long as he could, to the Green with his grandchildren for ice cream. He was always at our Paradise Pizza on the Green. We're a very small town, one of whom loved Gary so much. I'd love to have a place where his wife, Sue, kids, grandkids, and his hundreds of friends could sit and know he's there. They would want to add to the memorial bench so they could again be a part of him. Thank you and God bless.
