Build a Memorial Bench For Estelle at the Beach
Donation protected
Hi my name is Sharon - I am raising funds to purchase a memorial bench in Seaside Park NJ for my sister Estelle Donovan Malone. My goal is to have the project in place to celebrate her 58th birthday by the end of March.
Estelle had lived the majority of her life in Ocean County NJ and was proud to consider herself a local of the Jersey Shore community. During her short life she has touched the hearts of many with her positive can do attitude, constant smile and loving heart. She was a beautiful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, friend and co worker; Never hesitating to lend her time to help anyone in need. She showered all in her circle love, compassion and laughter for a brighter tomorrow.
One of her favorite places to visit was Seaside Park, the Island Beach Motel and Mikes Bistro. For more than a decade Estelle would share multiple vacations, outings and visits with both friends and family to the adjacent beach. Her self proclaimed happy place.
Unfortunately, my sister is no longer with us to share the sunsets, salt water, and sandy toes with a cold Corona. In 2022 she had lost her long battle with lung cancer. As with everything she has done in her life my sister last moments with us were spending time laughing with family and friends. There is a little less light in the world with her passing and we are all doing our best to represent her with spreading her legacy of love and kindness in our community.
The idea for the bench came this January when her granddaughter Stella and I took a visit Seaside. We sat there in the sand remembering the endless summers that seem like yesterday.
I am humbly asking each of you to donate her birthday date 27. During her battle and passing so many people wanted to help out, but didn't know how: And I thought what a wonderful way as a collective to honor her. So we can create a happy "space"at her "place", so friends and family can continue to make memories filled with sunshine, salt water, laughter while reminiscing of this beautiful lady.
