As President of Dundee Celtic Boys Club it was so moving to see the turnout for a wonderful football player , football coach , father and friend . Our community will forever miss Eddie McPake but our club needs his spirit, passion and charisma to live on . I would like to start this page to raise funds to place a memorial bench in Eddie’s honour next to Lochee Park pitch 1 one of his happiest places and where he won the league trophy he desired with his beloved Celtic Boys 2004s in their final year after coaching them from their first kick at fun fours to their last kick as champions having so much fun and success along the way . This bench will symbolise success, hard work and fun with Eddie watching over us and allow us to reflect and think what would Eddie do when we pass it by during tough games or times .
