Unexpectedly, on March 30, 2020, we lost our beloved Davide.
Dave was a devoted son, and a loyal friend and held a special place in our hearts.
To honour him, we would like to commission a memorial bench at St. Michael’s College, which was Dave's cherished alma mater at the University of Toronto. Dave dedicated many years to his studies at the U of T and a memorial bench would be a fitting tribute. It will be a place where his loving mother Romana, family members, friends and colleagues can visit and remember the special moments we shared with him.
We’ve received an estimate from the advancement office at St. Michael’s College and we would like to raise funds to have it installed this summer. Placement of the bench and date of installation will be shared once we have more information. In the event we raise more funds, we are thinking of a scholarship in his name at St. Michael’s College.
We are reaching out to those that loved him to contribute to this permanent tribute. This Go Fund Me campaign is the best way for everyone to easily participate and to manage the logistics of collecting funds during this health crisis.

***UPDATE*** Following the launch of this campaign, we were advised by U of T on April 24th that the cost of the memorial bench is actually $9,000.00 and not the previously stated $5,000.00. The campaign goal amount has been amended accordingly.
