Memorial Bench For Covy
Donation protected
Hello friends and family.
It hurts to have to even write this, but our family is here to ask for your help in raising funds for a memorial bench for our sweet, sweet Covy Jay. With Covy’s passing, we have been trying to find special ways to honor him, and to be able to continue to find peace with him.
Our family would love to have a bench in a special spot for our boy where friends and family can gather to spend time, celebrate the man he was, and to be able to keep making memories with Covy.
I’m sure those who met Covy know the kind of kid he was: gentle, sweet, goofy, daring, adventurous, infectious, loyal, one of a kind. For those of you who never met Covy, my heart hurts. He truly was the sweetest kid. So full of life and love, I swear his laugh alone could cure all ailment. The world was too lucky to have a kid like him in it.
With that being said, a gravesite in a cemetery just doesn’t feel like Covy. Covy’s love for the outdoors and for Gods creation is what has motivated us to have a memorial bench for him instead.
We haven’t decide a specific location for his bench yet, he had too many favorite spots he loved to fish, or just be outside, for us to pick from. As we’ve started looking into getting a memorial bench we have discovered there are many fees (instillation, cost of bench, annual upkeep, etc), and we figured this may be something those of you that have asked to help would be interested in supporting us in.
It has meant the world to our family for all of the support during this time. For all of you that have reached out with your condolences, to those that have sent food and gifts to the house, to those of you that have been asking about a place to donate, thank you. From the bottom of our hearts, your support is what has gotten us through this.
Love,
