Hello, my name is Santana. I am fundraising for a memorial bench for my son Carter.

Carter was a 16 year old whose life was tragically cut too short. He was a son, a brother, a friend and a shining light to all that knew him.

A memorial bench would be a place for his family and friends to sit and be with him, talk to him and connect with him and feel close with him. The bench would also allow a longer lasting memorial to be placed in honour of Carter when it comes time to dismantle the temporary one we have set up.

We have received approval from the city to have the bench placed we’re now onto the sightline survey part of the project. Once the sightline survey is complete we will also be given a link for donations to be sent directly to the city. I will update this to fund me with the link once it is received.
